Brother DCP-9055CDN - Reset Toner Cartridge

The Brother DCP-9055CDN has a process to manually override the "Toner Empty" message, and reset the toner cartridges.

1. Ensure the printer is switched on.
2. Open the printer lid to reveal the toner cartridges.
3. The LCD will display a "cover is open" message.
4. Press the "clear / back" button.
5. The Reset Menu will now appear.
6. Select the cartridge to reset, then press "OK", K = Black, C = Cyan, M = Magenta, Y = Yellow.
7. S = Standard Capacity Cartridge, H = High Capacity Cartridge.
8. Close the printer lid.

Brother DCP-9055CDN - Reset Drum

After installing a new drum unit, the printer needs to be reset.

1. Press "Menu"
2. Press the arrow keys to find "Machine Info".
3. Press "OK".
4. Press the arrow keys to find "Reset Menu".
5. Press "OK".
6. Press the arrow keys to find "Drum".
7. Press "OK".
8. Press 1. to reset the drum counter.
9. Press "stop / exit" button to leave menu.
