Brother DCP-165C - Head Cleaning Routine

  1. Make sure the printer is switched on.
  2. Press the Ink Management button.
  3. Press the down arrow to cycle through the menu, until you find Cleaning. Press OK.
  4. Press the down arrow to cycle through the options.
  5. Choose between cleaning the black only, the colour only, or all.
  6. Make your selection and press OK.
  7. The printer will now run a cleaning routine.

Brother DCP-165C - Nozzle Check

  1. Make sure the printer is switched on.
  2. Press the Ink Management button.
  3. Press the down arrow to cycle through the menu, until you find Test Print. Press OK.
  4. Press the down arrow to cycle through the menu, until you find Print Quality. Press OK.
  5. Press the colour start button.
  6. The printer will now print a nozzle check pattern.
